報(bào)告人簡(jiǎn)介:劉新芝教授現(xiàn)任加拿大滑鐵盧大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)系教授。1982年在山東師范大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系獲學(xué)士學(xué)位。1988年在美國(guó)德克薩斯大學(xué)阿靈頓分校獲博士學(xué)位。1988年至1990年在加拿大阿爾伯塔大學(xué)作博士后。1990年受聘于滑鐵盧大學(xué)為助理教授,并于1994年被聘為該校終身教授。劉教授的研究方向包括:混合動(dòng)力系統(tǒng),非線(xiàn)性系統(tǒng)控制及穩(wěn)定性,復(fù)雜網(wǎng)絡(luò)的同步,通訊網(wǎng)絡(luò)模型,傳染病模型等。已發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文400余篇,學(xué)術(shù)專(zhuān)著6部,學(xué)術(shù)編著20余部。
報(bào)告摘要:There has been a growing interest in hybrid dynamical systems in recent years. Such systems often undergo vector field switching and/or state jumps due to sudden changes in model characteristics. By introducing the notions of persistent limit set and persistent mode, we extend the classical LaSalle's invariance principle to hybrid systems exhibiting both impulses and switching. A weak invariance principle is established for such systems, under a weak dwell-time condition on the impulsive and switching signals. This weak invariance principle is then applied to derive asymptotic stability criteria for impulsive switched systems. As an application, we investigate a switched SEIR epidemic model with pulse treatment and establish sufficient conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the disease-free solution under weak dwell-time signals.
